EN 523 defines the product and quality framework; EN 524 defines test methods. Capacity classes follow the manufacturer’s production classification.
EN 523:2003 defines terminology, requirements and quality control for uncoated cylindrical corrugated steel sheaths and their connectors used with prestressing tendons. EN 524 specifies the related test methods.
Class/category wording in published daily capacity figures follows the manufacturer’s production classification. Certificate numbers and test limits are not listed here as marketing claims; they are issued with project documentation.
